Friends of Eagle Lake Woodworking
This page lists woodworking sites that I enjoy and recommend. Many of the sites are blog style video sites just like this one. There's a lot of great information out there and hopefully a page like this will help introduce you to some fellow woodworkers that you weren't aware of.

The Folding Rule Show
"The Folding Rule" is a video & photo journal of David Pruett's woodworking experiences. David builds custom furniture in a garage based shop, and has many great videos of tools, techniques, and interviews with other woodworkers . Take a peek into a David's shop!

Woodgears - Matthias Wandel
Matthias is brilliant and inventive. I aspire to create half as much as he's done. It seems he builds jigs and machines for the challenge of designing the solution. I'm always in awe of something new when I visit his site. You just have to check it out.
He doesn't just build stuff for woodworking, check out his personal site for more creative exporation - Matthias Wandel's personal site.

Furnitology - Neil Lamens
Neil Lamens is an experienced craftsman with a long list of educational and technical accomplishments in woodworking. I enjoy his podcasts where he talks candidly about a number of woodworking related topics. Neil also has a site devoted to his instructional DVD's where you can learn all about his business and commercial endeavors.

The American Craftsman Workshop - Todd Clippinger
Todd considers himself to be a Designer/Craftsman. “The term woodworker is a bit simplistic and just doesn’t seem to cover it all,” he states. He is definitely more than a woodworker in my opinion!
His work shows a level of refinement in design and execution that most of us "woodworkers" aspire to achieve. Todd has made a few videos that are hosted on the WOODTube sight. Todd's card scaper video really got me back into using a card scraper.

Matt Seiler
I first met Matt on the WOOD Magazine forums. If you hang around those forums, you've seen Matt for sure. He's now a moderator, but that privilege didn't come without earning it. Matt gives an incredible amount of his time to helping other woodworkers through design and technical problems. He also documents his own work very well so that others can learn from his processes. He has a few videos on WOODTube, but also some DVD's for sale. He's a first rate craftsman with a lot of knowledge he is willing to share.
